Unlikely Cure AU
Everyone Lives! AU series where Gollum survives the War of the Ring and has to get over himself. The premise is ridiculous but the fic is written in earnest, as in, it is not parody or trollfic, I did my best to write it in-character and be accurate to all of the lore except for what was essential to change to create the AU premise, and the only comedy arises from the inevitable absurdity of it all. Other featured characters are Bilbo Baggins and Boromir, and special guest: Denethor. But it's nearly all in Gollum's POV. You're not getting away from him. He's very much the star, and this is his fic. If you cannot enjoy reading about Gollum I really don't recommend reading this. All of these connect and are listed chronologically here but should also be readable by themselves in any order (as long as you accept that certain people are just here now).

Gollum decides not to betray Sam and Frodo to Shelob. A series of events later, he wakes up in Minas Tirith, under the protection and possibly the custody of Aragorn. What is Gollum going to do with himself with no Precious to hunt? What is everyone else supposed to do with Gollum?
- Bilbo Baggins Visits His Nephew In Ithilien 5,000 words. Bilbo visits Frodo in Ithilien just after the War of the Ring. And also some other people are there. Unfortunately, everything is different now. At a loss for what to write for the ficwip 5k event, I decided to take the same AU I've already been writing but now it's a standalone fic about Bilbo Baggins and his POV. For anyone unfamiliar with the ficwip 5k: 1) Everything ficwip runs is a ton of fun and you should check it out https://ficwip.tumblr.com/ 2) the rule is to write an AU in only 5,000 words. It was a fun brain-stretcher to be concise and not let characters ramble endlessly on at each other.
- Free to Good Home (table of contents)
A set of oneshots set after Schrödinger's Hobbit, going over Sméagol's life after the story and how his surroundings are affected by the introduction of a voracious apex predator. There's a loose narrative, but they're all standalones. Total wordcount roughly 100k, individual word counts listed by story in the table of contents.

Completed multi-chapter fic, 10,530 words. Gimli needs to retrieve blueprints for Minas Tirith's main gates from some scurrilous dwarves. But since burglars are scarce, there's but one to be found... it's not Bilbo. Sorry.
- Boromir Goes East (table of contents)
Completed multi-chapter fic, 32,899 words. Rated PG-13 for violence, death and danger.
Three years after the War of the Ring, Boromir is dispatched East to investigate a message sent from Rhûn, bringing the rehabilitated Halfling Sméagol as his only companion. The journey is long and unsatisfactory, featuring bandits, cursed rivers that give you nightmares, a creepy horse, vengeance-seekers, sudden downpours, harmless misinformation, and fissh.
