Heist: Table of Contents
This was my submission for the wonderful AU-Roulette event. My prompt was 'Heist'. This is intended to be readable as a standalone fic, but it is set loosely in the same AU universe as the other fics here.
I added an additional AU element just for this event! I don’t think Gollum is actually supposed to resemble an orc as much as Gimli thinks he does here. Now, orcishness is in the eye of the beholder, but I also need it for my premise. So, shhh :)
The Dourhands are an enemy faction from LOTRO that I have grabbed for my fanfiction and done as I pleased with while otherwise diverting from LOTRO’s canon, so that’s arguably AU as well. I can't keep track of who owns what regarding Tolkien's works. Rest assured that I own none of it. This is a transformative work made for fun and I do not make any profit from sharing it.
